nLIGHT Appoints Geoffrey Moore to Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, Wash. USA January 21, 2013 

 nLIGHT Corporation (nLIGHT) announced today the appointment of Geoffrey Moore to its Board of Directors. Moore, Managing Director of Geoffrey Moore Consulting and a Venture Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, brings decades of experience advising disruptive tech companies.

Moore is Managing Director of Geoffrey Moore Consulting, a management consulting firm, and is Chairman Emeritus of TCG Advisors LLC, The Chasm Institute and The Chasm Group, a technology strategy consulting firm that he founded in 1992. He is also a venture partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, a venture capital firm, serving as an advisor to many of its portfolio companies. Moore is widely recognized for his expertise in market development strategies and has consulted with some of industry’s leading technology companies including Cisco, Adobe, SAP, Agilent, Qualcomm, Sybase, Akamai and Yahoo! He is the best-selling author of “Crossing the Chasm,” “Inside the Tornado,” “The Gorilla Game,” “Living on the Fault Line,” “Dealing with Darwin,” and, most recently, “Escape Velocity.”

Moore graduated with honors from Stanford University and has a doctorate from the University of Washington.
