A letter from our CEO

Dear nLIGHT community,
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the world in ways we could have never imagined. I want to update you on what we’re doing as a company to ensure the well-being of our employees, as well as our customers, partners, and suppliers.
We care deeply about the health and safety of our global nLIGHT community. As such, we have implemented important measures to protect our employees. These measures include instructing all employees to follow guidelines designed to limit risk of infection, including hygiene, social exposure and travel restrictions. Employees who can work from home, are working from home.
We remain open for business. Our US operations are following federal and state orders and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) guidance that permit businesses such as nLIGHT to operate as an essential business. Our laser products are essential for both the defense industrial base and the critical manufacturing sector. We plan to continue critical operations in all of our global operations with the added precautions we have put in place.
Our colleagues in Lohja, Finland, are taking similar precautionary procedures as we’re taking in the US. In Shanghai, China, our team is back to work but continues to monitor and observe best practices for continued safety.
My thoughts are with nLIGHT employees, their families and our community during this uncertain time. Stay safe and healthy.
