Summit™ QCW Laser Family Extends Wavelength Offering
1.3 μm to 2.1 μm now available
Vancouver, WA USA January 16, 2008 – nLIGHT Corporation today announced the extension of the Summit™ QCW laser product family to wavelengths from 1.3 μm to 2.1 μm. Based on CTE-matched materials and hard solder, Summit™ products present a powerful solution for a variety of military, aerospace, medical and industrial applications.
The exclusive partnership between nLIGHT and Quantel Laser Diodes (formerly Thales Laser Diodes) provides an unparalleled combination of industry-leading diodes and packaging technology field-proven over more than ten years. Customer specific optimization is available through package options, including collimation, power, brightness, efficiency and now – expanded wavelengths. Summit™ products offer the flexibility to meet customer specific requirements for a wide range of applications.
