Vancouver, WA  January 24, 2006 – nLIGHT, the leading manufacturer of high-power semiconductor lasers, is featuring its portfolio of high power red diode lasers at 635 nm, 665 nm, 680 nm and 690 nm at Photonics West, booth #2033, January 24-26, 2006, in San Jose, CA.  

Available in single-stripe conduction-cooled “CS” package bars, micro-channel water-cooled Cascades™, c-Mount or high heat load (HHL) package, these easy-to-integrate, high-power, high-brightness and high-reliability multimode diode lasers are ideal for display, medical, and entertainment applications.

nLIGHT’s arrays are packaged on industry-standard conduction-cooled “CS” packages and on the micro-channel water-cooled Cascades™ platform. nLIGHT offers up to 10 W CW on the CS Package and up to 15 W CW on Cascades™. For higher output powers, Cascades™ packages can be stacked either horizontally or vertically, to a maximum of 20 bars high or 6 bars across. nLIGHT’s arrays offer low beam divergence and narrow spectral bandwidth. Moreover, the company’s proprietary fast-axis lensing capability can further improve bar brightness.

nLIGHT’s 635 nm single emitters on c-Mount or HHL package are rated up to 0.5 W. The company’s 665 nm, 680 nm and 690 nm single emitter products are rated to 1 W. Custom device packages and optics are available for volume applications.

nLIGHT’s high-power single emitter diode lasers are based on their BrightLife™ semi-conductor laser technology resulting in high power, highly reliable long lifetime products.
