nLIGHT to Present Technical Talks at Photonics West 2018

 VANCOUVER, Wash. USA     January 25, 2018 – Representatives from nLIGHT, Inc., a leading provider in the design and manufacture of high power semiconductor and fiber lasers will be presenting multiple technical talks at Photonics West 2018.

The talks will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif., from January 29 to February 1, 2018. Photonics West is the world’s largest photonics technology event featuring technical conferences and exhibitions.

Presenting on behalf of nLIGHT will be Manoj Kanskar, Ph.D., Vice President of Advanced Technology; Dahv Kliner, Ph.D., Vice President of Fiber Laser Technology; and David M. Hemenway, Distinguished Engineer and Fellow, Optics and Packaging.

The first talk on Monday, January 29 will be Narrowband Transverse-Modal-Instability (TMI)-Free Yb-Doped Fiber Amplifiers for Directed Energy Applications.

Two presentations will be given on Tuesday. The first will be Improvement in Reduced-Mode (REM) Diodes Enable 300 W from 105-µm 0.15-NA fiber-coupled modules. A second presentation will be Continued Advances in High Brightness Fiber-Coupled Laser Modules for Efficient Pumping of Fiber and Solid State Lasers.

Thursday, February 1 will feature the talk, Next-Generation Industrial Fiber Lasers Enabled by High Performance Components.
