Sr Software Engineer


  • Interface with colleagues, partners and customers to understand and manage feature requirements, expectations, and priorities
  • Working from minimal requirements to sculpt a solution meeting product and business needs, and then develop robust, self-defending code used in demanding 24x7 production environments worldwide
  • Utilize good software development processes and practices to produce and maintain high quality software
  • Document appropriately, advocate for best practices, and train/mentor team members/partners where needed
  • Assist and support internal as well as external customers with software and system issues


  • 5+ years experience as a software/firmware developer in real-time programming environments
  • MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline
  • Familiar with Windows operating systems and .NET
  • Comfortable with C# and C
  • Familiar with API design and development
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong in OOA and OOD
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and an ability to absorb and assimilate information rapidly
  • Able to work independently given high level goals or instructions
  • Skilled with Microsoft SW: Visual Studio, Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with embedded systems, firmware development and testing
  • Comfortable with ARM architecture
  • Knowledge of scripting and Python
  • Good electronics knowledge – read schematics and wiring diagrams; use multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and function generators
  • Computer Skills – IAR Workbench, Subversion or other SW configuration management systems
  • Exposure to Verilog, FPGAs, and their development tools
