European Sales Manager

The European Sales Manager position is a dynamic, growth-oriented opportunity to participate in the rapidly growing, technology-oriented high-powered fiber laser market with a focus on developing laser cutting and welding business. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, big-picture vision with the drive to make that vision a reality. 


  • Win target design-ins and consistently meet/exceed booking and revenue targets
  • Articulate company and product value proposition and key differentiation
  • Establish deep senior-level direct relationships with customers
  • Understand and track market, application, product, and competitive landscape
  • Champion compelling business cases with sound due diligence to expand product platforms or develop new products to expand growth
  • Analyze the relative profitability of products and customers in the region to drive informed sales channel objectives
  • Manage existing customers to drive further growth and profitability.


  • At least 7 years direct sales experience with track record of meeting/exceeding key sales objectives and quotas
  • Existing experience selling lasers or laser based equipment into Industrial markets is desired
  • MS/PhD in technology-related field is preferred.  MBA is desired
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels and disciplines (management, engineers, SCM, and finance)
  • Competent in pricing and contract negotiations
  • Existing relationships with the target industries is strongly preferred
  • Experienced with CRM systems and sales forecasting
  • This position will require travel, currently estimated at >40%
