Join the nLIGHT Inc. Laser Division team located in Hillsboro, Oregon as a Material Handling Clerk and work with a high-performance team in a growing industry!
In this position you will support the team to maintain ownership of critical day-to-day material handling and cycle counting in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Material handling: Physically pick materials from the Stockroom, perform transactions in ERP system and deliver parts to the production lines. Perform other related material transfer duties including packaging and labeling.
Inventory Control: Manually counts parts and compare results of manual count to balances maintained and reported on the ERP system as part of the cycle counting process, Investigates and determines root cause of discrepancies, documents and reconciles discrepancies utilizing Inventory Control techniques and ERP system, enters transactions to adjust electronic records for discrepancies.
Receiving: Receive incoming product, component material, and RMAs from customers according to documented process. Ensure accuracy by verifying vendor, parts received, and quantity received in accordance with purchase orders. Repackaging or relabeling of material as necessary. Segregate material requiring incoming inspection both physically and electronically.
