  • Work closely with engineering teams to enter and track purchasing requests.
  • Initiate new vendor contact and assessment documentation for submittal to purchasing team.
  • Interact with purchasing, engineering, quality and finance teams to facilitate correct and timely entry of item data into nLIGHT business systems.
  • Facilitate change orders and item disposition.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


  • Candidate shall be highly organized and detail-oriented with clear and professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Candidate should have basic understanding of manufacturing process and the ability to apply that understanding to engineering documentation.
  • Previous experience with ERP/PLM and Sharepoint required.
  • Use of Excel and other MS Office software is required.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and ability to resolve ambiguity.
