nLIGHT is seeking a full-time, in-house Product Marketing Specialist to develop, modify, and maintain a variety of outbound content, including: press releases, advertisements, journal articles and whitepapers, websites, social media posts, product datasheets and bulletins, sales presentations, user manuals, service manuals, and training documents.  This position requires excellent technical writing, team work, and communications skills.  Exceptional candidates will also have experience with photo and video editing.

Combine your ability to generate customer-facing content with nLIGHT’s fast-paced, technology-rich business environment.  Work closely with sales, marketing, and engineering organizations to increase brand awareness and promote our products across multiple channels.

Primary Duties

  • Write clear, simple, organized content for technical and business audiences
  • Adjust content for each channel to achieve greatest impact: ads, social media, website, manuals, etc
  • Deliver quality content on-time and consistent with brand and style standards
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams; manage priorities from multiple simultaneous projects
  • Learn nLIGHT’s technology, products, value proposition, markets, and applications quickly
  • Create images and video supporting outbound activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years in related role in technology-oriented organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis on copy editing
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, familiarity with creative programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop
