Product Marketing Manager - Advanced Manufacturing

Lead all aspects of product marketing in the Advanced Manufacturing industrial laser segment. 

  • Inbound activities include: documenting market and competitive trends, driving product roadmap, setting market requirements for new product development, out-period revenue forecasting, and overseeing execution of special projects.
  • Outbound activities include: developing corporate and business unit brand via multiple channels of communication, driving new product launches, establishing global pricing strategy, equipping sales with appropriate collateral, and in-period revenue management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive multi-dimensional business strategy in Advanced Manufacturing industrial laser segment .
  • Proactively support the Sales channel for pricing, promotional materials, lead time, technical questions, and service / support; engage in the sales process from cultivating new opportunities to supporting recurring orders and collections.
  • Coordinate market analysis, competitive intelligence, and competitive strategy development.
  • Drive cross functional teams to establish product requirements, time-to-market requirements, and product cost goals.
  • Balance Sales and Operations needs by providing long term forecasts and managing near term operations plans and revenue outcomes.
  • Interact with executive management, company stakeholders, and senior management peers to align strategic priorities and resources and report on the health of your business area.

 Qualifications

  • 10+ years in product development, manufacturing, sales, and/or marketing with increasing leadership and management responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of recent experience working in the commercial, high-power laser industry.
  • Technical degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, optical), physics, or similar discipline.
  • MBA is strongly preferred.
